Launching a startup company was a very challenging operation,
particularily one whose products needed to fit into the existing supply
chain of retail giant Tesco. Ensuring that logistical, operational and
financial processes were aligned across multiple partners was crucial
to making sure that the company's cashflow was sufficient to remain in
business.
Sean's process mapping and workshop facilitiation skills did this for
TescoMobile.
He ran a full day workshop with financial and stock management representatives from 4 separate companies involved in the supply chain process. His careful preparation and briefings prior to the workshop, along with his leadership throughout the day, enabled all parties to leave with a complete and unified understanding of how the end-to-end financial arrangements would work. I am pleased to say that the processes agreed at this workshop were successfully implemented at launch and continued to be used throughout the following years. I believe that a lot of its success lies in the work Sean did in bringing together all of the stakeholders at this workshop and making sure that the outcome was a fully agreed and mapped out financial process.
